Experience an opportunity for the
full expression of your yogic being through The Practice.
Based on the "Eye
of the Tiger" practice designed by John Friend as an ultimate practice
routine which maximizes strength, stamina, and flexibility in all the
major parts of the body, the class covers all the main categories of
asana including: Surya Namaskar, standing poses, arm balances,
inversions, backbends, hip-openers, forward bends, and twists. This
class is geared for students who have a strong consistent practice and
are not working with injuries.
This informal-style class is lead by Scott Lewicki, a
Certified Anusara Teacher who practices along with the class. Practicing
together, we help each other go after challenging variations of poses in
a fun and supportive environment. Come play!

Scott Lewicki
became a dedicated student of John Friend upon meeting him in
Jan. 2000 and became a Certified Anusara teacher in Jan. 2004.
Scott is grateful to all of the Anusara teachers who have been
his mentors, and especially to Dr. Douglas Brooks whose inspired
philosophy teachings kindle the feeling of Grace. Scott is
always striving to grow as a teacher and increase his knowledge
of yoga and yoga philosophy, and then enthusiastically share his
experience with his students.
Scott’s classes are playful
and challenging, and encourage students to connect to their
heart in all that they do.
